the sun rose over New York Tuesday morning, law enforcement officials
were expanding the security corridor around the Brooklyn federal
courthouse where terror suspect Najibullah ZAZI was scheduled to be
arraigned at 11:00. Police barricaded Tillary Street with their
vehicles and stood vigil against any potential threats to the legal
proceedings. Meanwhile, news crews were jockeying for position near the
building entrance where ZAZI would be led by federal marshals.
Television reporters began filing their live reports on location well
before the sun began to rise. Just two blocks away, vehicle and
pedestrian traffic moved at a pace normal for a Tuesday morning, most
apparently oblivious to the forthcoming arrival of a suspected
terrorist.

What follows is a Department of Homeland Security
report dated September 25 (unclassified), outlining the threat of the
lone jihadis and the difficulty in tracking and stopping them. The
disconnect is the motivation. Al Qaeda and the global jihadist ideology inspires these would-be mass slaughterers. The fact is, it’s Islam. It’s the Quran. When we can address that and talk about that and purge those violent passages from the Quran, suras, hadiths etc……… we can begin to fight this war successfully and stop this nonsense: Is This Any Way To Fight A War?

FBI/Counterterrorism Division/Directorate of Intelligence,

joint note to provide additional information on the recent arrests in
Illinois and Texas. The arrests of the two individuals
referenced below are not in any way related to the ongoing terror

Recent Arrests
On
23 September 2009, the FBI arrested U.S. citizen Michael Curtiss
FintonUSPER in Springfield, IL, and on 24 September 2009, arrested
Jordanian citizen Hosam Maher Husein Smadi in Dallas, TX. The two were
engaged in separate, unrelated plots to conduct attacks against
prominent buildings—Finton against the Federal Building in Springfield,
IL, and Smadi against the Wells Fargo Motor Bank in Dallas—using
vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices. Each will face weapons of
mass destructioncharges. These arrests are not related to the FBI
arrests earlier this week in Denver and New York.
Though
Finton and Smadi were engaged in separate, unrelated plots, they
illustrate the continuing threat posed by Islamic terrorist extremists
who are inspired by global jihad to commit violent acts in the United States, but do not necessarily receive direct guidance from any overseas terrorist organization. The FBI investigations into Finton and Smadi revealed that neither individual had ties to a formal terrorist network.
Implications
Finton
and Smadi are similar to other lone terrorists and terrorist cells
disrupted by U.S. law enforcement that identified with the ideas and
goals of the global jihadist movement, but lacked direct guidance or instructions from the leadership of a formal terrorist network. Despite this,
they demonstrated the intent and potential capability to advance plots
by conducting training, selecting targets, and procuring weapons, but
weredisrupted before executing attacks.
On 27 July 2009, the FBI arrested Daniel Patrick Boyd [Muslim convert]
USPER and seven of his associates on charges of conspiring to provide
material support to terrorists and conspiracy to murder, kidnap, maim,
and injure persons abroad. The arrests disrupted Boyd’s ongoing efforts
to radicalize young men in the Raleigh-Durham area for the purpose of
conducting violent jihad abroad.
On 20 May 2009, the FBI arrested three U.S. citizens and one Haitian national in New York on charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction in the United
States and conspiracy to acquire anti-aircraft missiles, ending an
eight-month operation. The charges arose from a plot to detonate
explosives near a Jewish community center
and synagogue in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York, and to
attack military planes with improvised devices and anti-aircraft
missile systems at the New York Air National Guard Base located at Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, New York.
In June 2007, the
FBI arrested six individuals for planning a terrorist attack on
military facilities, including the Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey.
They trained for the attack in several different ways, including
viewing jihadist videos, firing weapons at a shooting range in the
Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, and playing paintball. The group was
influenced by al-Qa‘ida and the global jihad message, but received no outside assistance with the plot.
In December 2006, the FBI arrested U.S. citizen Derrick
ShareefUSPER when he attempted to purchase grenades and weapons for a
self-directed terrorist attack against a shopping mall food court.
Shareef was inspired by global jihadist ideology, yet received no direction from any foreign terrorist or organized terrorist group. (U) Suggested Protective Measures
Building management personnel may want to consider the following enhanced protective measures.
- — Keep vehicles away from critical assets and from areas where large numbers of people congregate.
- — Require all illegally parked vehicles be moved or have them towed.
- — Identify emergency entry and exit points.
- — Be aware of suspicious behavior and alert to the presence of unattended bags, backpacks, briefcases, and suitcases.
- —Review security camera footage daily to detect possible indicators of preoperational surveillance.
- — Ensure employees are familiar with procedures for shutting off utility services (electricity, natural gas) in emergency situations.
- — Conduct random explosive detection searches staggering search times and patterns.
Is this any way to fight a war?
Detection
and disruption of lone terrorists are difficult because law enforcement
cannot rely on networks or associations to identify them before an
attack takes place. Violent
extremists inspired by al-Qa‘ida’s militant ideology may adopt
terrorist tradecraft and planning methodology similar to that employed
by terrorist organizations like al-Qa‘ida, including
extensive pre-attack surveillance and careful target selection. These
similarities provide law enforcement with opportunities to uncover
plots in the planning phase through careful observance of suspicious
activity. DHS and the FBI do not currently possess credible information
regarding any specific targets of terrorist plotting in the United
States. DHS and the FBI continue to urge vigilance and the prompt
reporting of any suspicious activities or information to appropriate
authorities.

the White House who stand to gain the most from the Chicago 2016
Olympic bid.
Chicagoans of all political stripes who oppose
massive government funding of Mayor Richard Daley’s pet project have
inundated my email-box. Reader Will P. sums it all up by noting that
the games would “protect the current corrupt structure” and paper over
Chicago/Illinois’s myriad woes, including: “Governor after Governor going to jail. Pay to play schemes. Crumbling and outdated infrastructure. Deteriorating public housing. Failing, dumbing-down schools. Hospital cutbacks. Sanctuary city. Never-ending gang wars (outbursts every Spring requiring massive police presence, police outmanned at the Taste of Chicago, innocents shot in the crossfire weekly, current beating video out now). Cemetery scandal (bodies removed and graves resold)…Acorn, Bill Ayers, Rezko, Blago, Wright. Univ. of Illinois “clout” scandal. Illegal preferential city hiring. City inspectors on the take (Operation Crooked Code). Voter fraud. The unemployment rate. Taxes through the roof. Mayor Daley attempting to extend city taxes to the suburbs. All this, and more…”
Daley’s approval ratings are at a record low as he scrambles to lease everything from parking meters to airports to raise cash. Residents are still reeling over the murder of teenager Derrion Albert. But FLOTUS Michelle Obama, on her merry way to Copenhagen, is singing a happy tune:
“I mean, you know, most of these Games are taking place blocks away
from my house. There’s good security by my house these days. And while
Chicago is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, it is —
people don’t live in fear. The downtown area is completely accessible…I
know Mayor Daley, and he’s going to make sure that these Games go off
without a hitch because that’s the kind of mayor he is. It’s not called
the ‘City That Works’ for nothing.”
It “works” for the few at the expense of the many. That is the Chicago way.

When government officials play the Olympic lottery, taxpayers lose. That has been the disastrous experience of host cities around the world (Forbes magazine even dubbed the post-Olympic financial burden the “Host City Curse”).
So, why are President Obama and his White House entourage headed to
Copenhagen, Denmark this week to push a fiscally doomed Chicago 2016
bid? Political payback.
Bringing the games to the Windy City is Chicago Mayor Richard M.
Daley’s “vision.” The entrenched Democratic power-broker – in office
since 1989 – would like to cap off his graft-tainted career with a
glorious, $4 billion bread and circuses production. The influential
Daley machine backed Barack Obama for the presidential primary. Obama lavished praise
on Daley’s stewardship of the city. Longtime Daley cronies helped pave
Obama’s path to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Now, they’re returning the
favor for their hometown boss.
Senior White House adviser and Obama consigliere Valerie Jarrett is
a Daley loyalist who worked as his deputy chief of staff, deputy
corporation counsel, and planning commissioner. She hired the future
First Lady of the United States, then-Michelle Robinson, as a mayoral
assistant. Jarrett went on to serve as president and CEO of The Habitat Company, a real estate firm with a massive stake in federally-funded Chicago public housing projects.
One of those public-private partnerships, the Grove Parc Plaza Apartments, was run into the ground
under Jarrett’s watch. Federal inspectors graded the condition of the
complex a bottom-of-the-barrel 11 on a 100-point scale. “They are
rapidly displacing poor people, and these companies are profiting from
this displacement,” Matt Ginsberg-Jaeckle of Southside Together
Organizing for Power, a community group that seeks to help tenants stay
in the same neighborhoods, told the Boston Globe
last year. “The same exact people who ran these places into the
ground,” the private companies paid to build and manage the city’s
affordable housing, “now are profiting by redeveloping them.”
Coincidentally enough, Grove Parc — now targeted for demolition as a
result of years of neglect by Obama’s developer friends—sits in the
shadows of the proposed site of the city’s 2016 Olympics Stadium.
Jarrett served as vice chair of Chicago’s 2016 Summer Olympics bid
committee before moving to the White House, where she has helmed a new “White House Office on Olympic, Paralympic and Youth Sport”
with an undisclosed budget and staff. It’s not just taxpayers in
cash-strapped Chicago who should be worried about this field of
schemes. Crain’s Chicago Business reports that Jarrett and Chicago 2016
committee member Lori Healey met this month with federal officials at
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development “to discuss financing options” for the estimated $1 billion Olympic Village.
The door is open and the administration is “willing to meet and
listen” to any federal subsidy proposals, Jarrett said. Hey, what
happened to Obama’s tough rules on interest-conflicted lobbying by his administration officials?
A majority of Chicagoans who live in pay-for-play-plagued Cook County
oppose public funding for the Olympic party. The city has more than a
half-billion-dollar deficit – and just received word that its Olympic
insurance policy will cover only about $1.1 billion of the $3.8-billion operating budget drawn up by Daley. Cost overruns, fraud, and union-inflated contracts are inevitable.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs defended President Obama’s all-out
campaign for Chicago’s 2016 Olympics bid by claiming America will see a
“tangible economic benefit.”
But as is always the case with sports corporate welfare disguised as “economic development,” an elite few will benefit far more than others.
Take
senior White House adviser and Obama campaign guru David Axelrod. He’s
been a Daley loyalist since 1989, when he signed up as a political
consultant for the mayor’s first run. Axelrod’s public relations firm,
Chicago-based AKPD Message and Media, has pitched in work for the Chicago 2016 committee.
It is unknown how much AKPD has received for its services – or how much
they’ll make in future income if the bid is successful. AKPD currently owes Axelrod $2 million.
The head of the Chicago 2016 bid committee is Patrick Ryan, chairman of the Aon Corporation and a co-chair of Obama’s deep-pocketed presidential inaugural committee. (Under Ryan’s watch at Aon, the company settled a massive corruption probe with 3 states for $190 million. Also on both of those committees: Obama confidante Penny Pritzker, who in addition chairs the Olympic Village Subcommittee and is president of Pritzker Realty Group
– a mega-developer in Illinois that could reap untold millions in
project work if the Daley Machine/White House campaign succeeds.
Former Pritzker executive and Obama campaign treasurer Martin Nesbitt is also on the bid committee – and serves as Mayor Daley’s chairman of the Chicago Housing Authority.
Another
bid committee member, Michael Scott Jr., is “trying to develop a
for-profit real estate project that would sit within feet of the
cycling venue if Chicago wins the 2016 Summer Games,” according to the Chicago Tribune.
It takes a crony-filled White House to raise a Chicago Olympic
village. Daley and Obama will get the glory. America will get stuck
with the bill.

We’ve seen it before. Hollywood seems to need to find a way, any
way, to jab Governor Palin as much as possible. Case in point we have
the soon to be released movie titled “Did You Hear About The Morgans?” starring Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Right in the trailer for this new laugh riot film is a jab at Palin.
But it is a typically illogical jab, one that makes no sense at all.
But it IS a jab and I guess logic isn’t necessary to the good folks in
Hollyweird if it results in a jab at Palin.
The premise is that Hugh and Jessica are a married couple from New
York that witness a Mafia hit and end up in witness protection in
Wyoming. The jab comes in when Parker sees her first woman in a cowboy
hat and worriedly says, “Oh my God it’s Sarah Palin.”
Guffaws all around, eh?
Of course, the whole thing is idiotic. Sarah Palin is not known for
cowboy hats. Sarah Palin is not from Wyoming. Sarah Palin is not a
south westerner at all. I would suggest that even idiot New Yawkers are
aware that Palin is Alaska personified, not Wyoming!
It is also a little incongruous that the movie is portraying Hugh
Grant as a married man. I thought all he cared about was prostitutes?
I also have to say that Sarah Jessica Parker is looking very old in this trailer. This woman is not aging well, to be sure.
That’s Hollyweird for ya.
NOTE I’ve been emailed and had it pointed out that Wyoming isn’t
exactly in the “southwestern” USA. I realize that. What I was trying to
get at is that Wyoming is southwestern compared to where Alaska is, but
I badly garbled what I meant. So, yes, Wyoming is not south western.

Secessionist Convention in New Hampshire in 2008, drawing delegates
from about two dozen secessionist organizations in the United States
and Canada.
Secessionist organizations are operating at various levels of
activity in Texas, Vermont, New Hampshire, Alaska and Hawaii. Breakaway
sentiments and anger at Washington also run high within the Southern
National Congress, a 14-state organization to “express Southern
grievances and promote Southern interests.”
Chairman Tom Moore, who lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of
southwest Virginia, says the group is “not explicitly a secessionist
organization,” although “most of our people probably do favor that
option.”

Obama’s Ghostwriter From Hell

said on "The Mancow Show," a talk-radio show
from Chicago, that he had two sources that suggested unrepentant
terrorist Bill Ayers played a large part in the writing of Barack
Obama’s fable, "Dreams From My Father," a book that Time Magazine has
called "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American
politician."
Andersen’s on-air comments confirmed what he alleges
in his new book, and confirms the literary forensic work of columnist
Jack Cashill, who has provided compelling evidence that the co-founder
of the radical Weather Underground, and author of its
manifesto,
"Prairie Fire," fleshed-out and polished Obama’s incomplete manuscript with his exceptional
writing skills.
After Obama was
selected as the first
affirmative-action president of the Harvard Law Review, he was
approached by an agent, Jane Dystel, who got him a contract for a
book
from Poseidon Press upon his graduation.
He
was given free use of an office at the University of Chicago, a law
school fellowship, and a $125,000 advance, to finish his
manuscript. Obama and Dystel worked mostly by telephone and sending
draft manuscripts by Federal Express between New York and Chicago.
Even with Dystel’s editing, Obama struggled to finish. His
half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, said he eventually retreated to Bali for
several months with his wife, Michelle, "to find a peaceful sanctuary
where there were no phones."
The real reason Obama scurried off to Bali was to
seek his mother’s help
with his manuscript — but to no avail.
Anyway, Obama blew
his advance, and Dystel got him a second, $40,000 advance from Random
House for the same book.
Again, he was unable to deliver a
manuscript to Random House, and, in desperation, he turned to his friend
and employer at the Chicago
Annenberg Challenge, Bill Ayers, to help him finish what was to become a
work of fiction,
supposedly on the advice of wife, Michelle. Thanks to the help he
received from the skilled Ayers, Obama was able to submit a manuscript
to his editors.
Cashill had picked up a copy of Bill Ayers 2001
memoir, "Fugitive Days." In reading the book, he discovered that Ayers
writes very well, and very much like Obama. This prompted Cashill to
examine "Dreams…," and he found that the book’s language, its oddly
specific references, literary devices, and themes would bear an uncanny
similarity to Ayers’s own writing. Cashill pointed out that in contrast
to "Dreams," the Obama writing samples unearthed before 1995 "are
pedestrian and uninspired."
Last fall, Cashill commissioned an
independent scientific comparative analysis of writings by Obama and
Ayers to determine whether Ayers had a significant role in the writing
of "Dreams…," and reported at least four different stylometric analysts
supported his extensive forensic evidence.
His experts included
university professors from the U.S. and England in the statistical
analysis of authorship, systems engineers, writers and Ph.D. literary
analysts. One analyst said it was possible Ayers served as a "book
doctor," drastically rewriting work Obama already had done.
Obama has skated by on his
skin-tone, smile, personality and "BS" his entire life — he’s a
complete fraud. Even today, he is helpless and hapless without the
ever-present TOTUS.

Newly Discovered: Community Organizers Appear to ‘Pray’ to President-Elect Obama

Despite growing opposition from We-the-People to ObamaCare and all
of his other patently Socialist programs, Dictator-in-Chief Obama and
his paid minions have vowed to continue to fight us. Last month’s Town
hall meetings—at which we protested ObamaCare and Cap and Tax—appear to
have had no little-to-no-impact on our elected liberal officials.
The 12 September 1.7 Millions strong Patriots March on Washington
D.C. was largely ignored by both Obama’s state-run media and his
politicians, alike. Obama even arranged to be out of town meeting with
a hand-picked crowd of fawning supporters, that day. The politicians
are still refusing to listen to us.
Members of the Democrat-run US House of Representatives are reneging
on their promises and are—yet again—pushing for inclusion of illegal
aliens into ObamaCare. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) said incredulously: “If
anybody can, with a straight face, advocate that we should provide
health insurance for people who broke into our country, broke our law
and for the most part are criminals, I don’t know where they ever would
draw the line.”
Obama DOES lie—and on a regular basis
While liberal and leftist elected politicians are now demanding that
the American taxpayer fund illegals’ healthcare, they are also pushing
for the gutting of Seniors’ Medicare Advantage to pay for ObamaCare.
Working hard to continue pulling the wool over US citizens’ eyes, Obama
says Medicare won’t be adversely impacted. But, the Congressional
Budget Office (CBO) reports that it most certainly will and in a HUGE
way. Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) was and is right. Obama DOES
lie—and on a regular basis. Obama and his like-minded politicians are
still refusing to listen to us.
Abortion will be allowed—if not mandated—in ObamaCare. And although
there is no specific language permitting it in the Senate’s Baucus and
Kennedy ObamaCare bills, there is no language to prevent it.
Interestingly, in the bills presented by both the House and Senate,
amendments that would ensure no abortions would be funded in ObamaCare
have been repeatedly voted down by Democrat lawmakers. Thus far, these
lawmakers have voted against each and every one of these amendments.
ObamaCare WILL provide for abortions as “healthcare.” Obama lies and
his anti-human politicians contingent are still refusing to listen to
We-the-People.
Liberal and leftist politicians are also back to their old tricks of
pushing for totalitarian government-run healthcare. And don’t be
fooled by the new name of “co-ops” as this is merely the new word to
allow the government to control all of us. The “public option” is no
option at all. It is specifically designed to destroy any and all
private insurance and place the control of Americans healthcare and
bodies in the hands of corrupt Marxist politicians and will crush any
remaining liberty in the former USA. Once these draconian healthcare
programs are put in place, they are almost impossible to remove. Just
look to Europe and Canada. And once these programs are in place, any
and all remaining private insurance companies are put out of business.
HR 3200’s page 16 even advises that once ObamaCare takes effect,
private insurance options will no longer be allowed. Power hungry—a
hunger that is impossible to satiate—politicians are still refusing to
listen to us.
It appears that the political crop of tares that currently occupies
elected office is bound and determined to encircle and crush the life
out of each and every aspect of our country so that its members can
continue to seize all of our assets for themselves. It also appears
that our final course of action is being determined for and forced upon
us on a daily basis. And is moving in only one inevitable direction.
