“Stephen Dorling, of the University of East Anglia’s school of environmental sciences, said it was not surprising the cold period raised questions over climate change – but the snowy weather should not be used as evidence against it.”
Obama hightails it to Hawaii
By Judi McLeod Full Story
No stand up comedian could ever trump Barry-Soetoro-posing-as-Barack-Obama on his way to Hawaii.
He (mercifully) won’t be back in the U.S. until January 1.
But his parting shot to the masses hoping for relief from the brutal boot of Marxism, is that recent weeks marked a `Season of Progress’.
Obama also said he was disappointed that the Congress did not agree on an annual budget to fund government operations for fiscal year 2011, which began Oct. 1, and instead passed temporary extensions.
1776: Victory or Death
By Jim O’Neill Full Story
”[Future generations] you will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.” —John Quincy Adams (1767-1848) Sixth President of the United States of America
“The [Revolutionary] war was a longer, far more arduous, and more painful struggle than later generations would understand or sufficiently appreciate.”—David McCullough “1776”
“There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily.”—George Washington (1732-1799) 1st President of the United States of America
The frigid scene by the Delaware river was illuminated by flickering camp-fires, a few lanterns, and a scattering of storm-tossed torch-light.

By Joseph A Olson, PE Full Story
On Sept 1, 2010 a warmist disciple entered the Discovery Channel Temple armed with two starter pistols and a faux bomb. Minutes later he was a human sacrifice to the disturbed green loony cause. On December 15, 2010 a warmist monk entered the American Geophysical Union annual meeting and immolated before that gathering.
The Left Drinks Itself to Death. Again
By Daniel Greenfield Full Story
It wasn’t long after Obama’s victory that liberals began trying on patriotism like an old ill-fitting coat, admiring themselves in the mirror, and even denouncing conservatives as unamerican (yes it happened). Caught in the afterglow of their win, basking in the radiance of their man addressing the country, beaming down from the carefully arranged set pieces and choreographed events, guzzling the myth like hopeandchangey brew—they could almost believe that the great clock of history had wound back to the Kennedy Administration. Before the Vietnam War or the shot in Memphis that killed Martin Luther King. That golden moment between FDR and LBJ, only briefly broken by McCarthyism and Ike, when hating your country hadn’t yet become the mandatory liberal position. When it was still possible to look up admiringly at the flag and be a liberal, even if Phil Ochs and the SDS might mock them for it. When America to them was still the hope of the world, not the shame of the world.
Lisa Murkowski: not a RINO, a Democrat
By Greg Halvorson Full Story
Lisa Murkowski. It’s difficult to type her name without grinding my teeth. For those who reveled in the defeat of Mike Castle (R-DE) and understood why it’s better for conservatism – and for Liberty – to lose a general election than to sanction a RINO, Murkowski is now the Queen of Bad Votes. Not a Republican insofar as her “yeas” and “nays” differentiate her from Democrats, she is, by consensus, the new Arlen Specter. In fact, in this pseudo-constitutional “duck,” she’s voted like a woman with the initials N.P.
